lol...it's not a matter of correctness. Personally, I find double spacing more readable but I'm also a speed reader so I don't know if that plays into it. What I do know is that anyone who gets their panties in a bunch over this kind of thing, needs to get a life.

I'm with you on this one too, as a 30 year old. Double spaces are where it's at, even if kinja hates them enough to delete the extra space when I submit this.

I'm the same way. I know the arguments, variable width fonts and all that, but I still think readability is improved by two spaces after a period, and I will continue to use them.

I learned to type on a computer and always double space after a period, except when my tablet or phone autocorrects the double space to a period plus space.

I agree that he's a total douche and a not a very smart one, but his crimes hardly warrant the kind of aggressive prosecution and punishment. This is a traffic case. The idiot should get a hefty fine, driving ban for a period, maybe even the boot out of that hellhole, but jail is asinine, and those who defend it are just ass. Using huge volumes of public funds to go after this guy is even more asinine.

For all of you posting the extradition treaty. Read the schedule of extradition for offenses. Traffic violations and or reckless endangerment are not on the list. NYC can go fuck itself. Canada will not extradite for his offenses. Go for it.

So if the jurors admitted that they wanted to make an example out of him, isn't there a chance for them to throw the case out completely because jurors were persuaded just to make an example.

You sound ridiculous. Blackhawks don't just fall out of the sky in hover regularly, they are incredible safe machines even in wartime conditions. The chopper through some candy to some kids, I get that it is a discipline issue possibly, but it is hardly panic inducing.
