We originally signed up with Netflix to help entertain our ailing parents. Then we stayed on because of good content. Now it’s getting as expensive as cable TV was to have a few services for entertainment.

I read the book back in late 70's, over and over. It fascinated me how they survived. I flew over the Andes a few times, as I lived in Bolivia back then.
The only version I’ve seen is the one with the American cast.  As stated below, that plane crash did seem very similar to what was described in the book.

As a self proclaimed BBQ pitmaster, my thoughts on this are:
