I didn’t get travel insurance either, however due to the airline not being able to fly in, I got lucky.
I’ll reconsider that option next time. Good luck!
That is on my list for sure. I’m going to let the wife and her cousin wander up and down main street while I hit the museum.
Yup, I’m on hold with American Airlines now. I’m calling to get a refund. as you said, it’s pretty much shut down at this point. Hope you found an alternate location.
I’m road tripping to the Texas Hill Country instead.
I wish I had read this a long time ago.
I bought tickets to Key West back in April for our annual vacation.
I’m supposed to go on the 16th for a week. I don’t know if there will be anything to go see or do at that time. But if the airport is open then I’m screwed.

I might be heading…
I spent 6+ years in Galveston between 87 - 93. I don’t remember as many reports of Houston flooding as much as the streets of Galveston did during heavy rains.
I moved around the country, but came back to the area in 2002, after Alison. Between 2002 and 2009 I lived near the Galleria on Post Oak, down in Willowbend…
lol.
The fact they sold “So Few” makes it more of an exclusive club for those that own them. They are definitely MORE exciting IMO. The suicide doors might be a pain, but since I don’t have any little brats to haul around, they work out just fine for me. The 4Runner and Xterra are fine vehicles, but I happen to really love…
WFAA was broadcasting that up here in DFW as that happened. My wife and I were both watching it. It was on their secondary channel that they usually do the weather on.
