oh my god it has a dark theme
SOLD.

This reminds me of the time I tried to learn how to pull of a 16-star speedrun of Super Mario 64. I spent hours trying to jump across that damn castle bridge to skip the Lakitu cutscene, and another several hours attempting to exploit this poor little bomb-omb to phase Mario through a wall and nab the first star.

I’ve been playing Thumper, out of all things. It’s not relaxing at all, quite the opposite. But I guess there’s something about the oppressive atmosphere and insane (yet fair) difficulty that just sucks me into its hellish, rhythmic void. Probably the best game I have for cranking the volume and forgetting about the

Thank god, thanks for clearing that up. XD Never played Gravity Rush, dunno why I’m even watching this, but 2 minutes in I was so damn confused with what I was hearing. I study a bit of Japanese enough to recognize the sound of the language, so I thought they must’ve been speaking Korean or something, I dunno. :P

Biggest letdown? Anime isn’t real.

Now playing

HELL YEAH THUMPER. Surprised it wasn’t on this list. I can’t tell if I’m more excited or more terrified of playing it. I mean seriously LOOK AT THIS SHIT. I can’t survive this:

This. When we were kids, my sister and I repeatedly rented N64 games from the local video store, which we later ended up owning once they went out of business. There’s still a few files we left intact, even today: a file named “RAY” who had all 47 balloons in Diddy Kong Racing, and a complete (or nearly complete) file
