Fascinated that Gawker found the Ghostbusters trailer to be amazing, while are indifferent to this one. This looks fantastic and I’m honestly more excited for this than I was for The Force Awakens.

So, clearly something aged him up pretty dramatically in that time

That is incredible work on the part of the actress playing Mon Mothma. If I didn’t honestly know it was 38 years later, I wouldn’t be able to say it wasn’t the same woman. Amazing.

That was the second thing in the trailer that made me scream. JFC HE LOOKS SO SUAVE

Mon Mothma! Classic Star Destroyers! Rebel pilots! Royal Guards! AT-ATs!

Holy fuck.
This looks incredible! And I am so excited to finally see some more Mon Mothma (that's her name, right? The rebellion leader?). This just looks so interesting and exciting!

Who the hell is playing Mon Mothma? She looks so much like the original actress.

Just saying, it is what it is. And if the source material doesn’t have them going to the coast or an army base, why would the show veer that far off?

If anyone could convince me that the Negan story line would be in any substantive way different from the Governor story line, I’d be tempted to go back and watch next season.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

I hate you for this, because now that I’ve read it I think there is a 90% chance they do that.

Game of thrones kills off main characters left and right. It’s been proven that fans will follow a show regardless of who is killed off. I would much rather they tell a complete story as opposed to one dictated by the masses.

Oh yeah, there’s no way that the premier actually starts with the reveal. It’ll jump a day or two and eliminate potential deaths one-by-one by having the characters appear. Until they’ve all appeared, and only then reveal that one of them was only in another character’s mind.

Mouthing “bang” while looking unimpressed is also how my son was conceived

I think this even more just sets up for a time jump right? So they don’t show us who dies, and then they jump say 2 years so the characters are all over the death anyway, giving the audience no real time to think about it.

I’m already emotionally detached from Glenn after his character regression at the dumpster scene and the dumb choice of the show to drag out his fate. If he did die here, it would further cheapen the already cheap cliffhanger.

God, it was interminable, that was the worst season ender of any show ever.

If you told me that they were writing an open-ended finale so that they could use it as salary leverage with the cast, I wouldn’t be surprised. I don’t expect that’s it, but I am saying that I don’t think they know who they want to kill yet.

I came here to read Rob’s article, not yours.

This. All of this. Last night’s episode was the shittiest shit ever that TWD ever pulled and is a direct affront to its viewers. It's lazy and terrible writing and I'm angry I wasted my time watching this season.
