What is a polite way to tell the lifters not to let their weights drop to the floor that is not designed for weights to be dropped on?  It’s loud, annoying, and the time & cost to replace the floor cuts into everyone’s else’s ability to use the gym.

When it’s really hot here it’s also really humid.  The AC runs to get rid of the humidity more than the heat.  (And when I say humidity I mean that when you step outside the air hits you like a wall and you wish you had gills so you could breathe)

I’ve had it.  It’s mostly meh.

I exercise during my lunch break (by skipping breaks I can get that magical whole hour).

Flip & Tumble (www.flipandtumble.com)  Strong, good size.  Only one strap so I don’t have to fumble to much.  The cotton string mesh bags are easy enough to make if you knit or crochet.  But they don’t stay neat and compact.  Do make the Costco run easier because awkward boxes fit just fine.

I love that twitter. Art History Nerd.

Order the soda or tonic water and don’t worry.  There are a multitude of reasons not to drink alcohol.  From “gotta drive” to “pumps up my blood sugar to high” to “doing a sober challenge” to “I like the taste of” whatever non alcoholic choice you’ve made.

I have a similar commute.  The price of mass transit is more than the cost of gas for that distance.

Want!  All I need is something to bounce around the metro area in.  I am their target consumer.

I’ve had to tell servers I want actual spicy not Minnesota spicy.  Then thank them profusely while I mop sweat from my brow.  Because that was exactly what I wanted.

I’m one that appears to run better in the flat (no heel rise) style of running shoe. Spending $100 to $150 is a bit pricey but it’s worth it. Once they are worn down they work great as general goofing off shoes.  Now if specialized shoe companies would stop messing with the fit of their shoes.  Not everyone has

I’ve never codified it but, yeah.  These numbers sound good.  I’m spoiler adverse but realize that it’s on me to watch, read, play the thing in a reasonable time frame.

Part of my voracious reading as a child was comic books.  As well as text only books.  And who’s to say that gripping storylines aren’t in MMOs?

That seems about the age that my reading for fun really kicked off.  Now that I’m older I don’t have as much time to just relax and read.  I have to carve out time for it.  Honestly, the entire concept of not enjoying reading is mind boggling.  Have any studies been done to see if there is a connection between parents

We have a full kitchen but in summer use the toaster oven to keep the heat down.  Love to bake bread but in summer I do not want the kitchen to be a portal straight to hell.

Being white, I have to agree.  Ten bucks she said right before being attacked, “I can feel it’s energy”

I doubt she’s learned her lesson about why there are safety fences around wild animals.

Trying to cancel negative thoughts were how my greatest depression spirals started.  So many memories of sobbing while driving trying to not think badly.  Sometimes you need medication to cancel negative thoughts.

Didn’t do the whole month challenge but did find a few new ways to torture my abs. Stability balls are the devil.  Yes, there is soreness.  The new core work out I hate is shoveling snow.  Every other day is another snow emergency and that requires shoveling.  ow.  ow. ow.  I’m old.
