Have one that will scream at me. It’s always Super Important. Like the other cat is laying in the hallway so she can’t walk between rooms. Or the wet food is now dried out because she didn’t want to eat at bedtime. Or she really needs attention, Right Now.

We often have small Thanksgivings due to our family being out of state and our work schedules.  Tips we’ve used before:

Great! Now how do I stop the one cat from howling at 3 am waking up us and the dogs? Once the dogs are awake they must go outside. Things that make the cat howl: food dish isn’t as full as it should be, water dish isn’t as full as it should be, it’s too dark to see the food, the other cat is sitting in the hallway so…

Inverted poses help a lot with lowering blood pressure. (not the chronic kind that needs meds, the temporary kind of higher blood pressure.) Easiest way to do this? Lay on the floor with your feet up against the wall. Once the pets stop trying to lick your face it’s pretty calming.

Not a lot, really.  Turned an unused studio into an office.  Spouse, however, has built an adult tree house for us.  As well as a few other changes/improvements to the backyard.  Looks like closets and clothes not worn for a year or I don’t like need to get moved out.

Yes.  Not that I could take advantage of this, I would still like to learn more about infrastructure for digital workers.

I’m not sure about them not winning their defense.  They’re awfully white and inbred looking.

My plans to visit my family (who live 6 hours away by car) have gone down the toilet. The family’s summer party schedule is on hiatus. I’ve finally started wearing a mask only because I think they are fun. If I had any costumes that included full face helmets I’d wear them instead.

I hope buffets aren’t dead.  My two favorites were both chinese buffets.  I miss them so much.
