As an FYI - Kathy Griffin does not drink, nor does Alec. Kathy has some family members (maybe extended family) that have/have had drinking problems in the past so she stays far away from it. And recently I heard Alec being interviewed on I think Fresh Air (although not by Terry Gross) about his recent autobiography…
I think if she were 20 or even 30 - six (she’s 56) she probably wouldn’t have. She’s at a woman’s time in life where one is officially disposable, and she is AFRAID. I hate it. It sucks. A male celeb would have seriously LEANED IN after a photo shoot like that.

Same. She did not threaten the president, she did not harm the president, and he is surely not the first president to have been punished in effigy. So what if people think it’s tasteless? +1! Also, the way that dress (awesomely) clings to/accentuates her every line and curve, I think the fanny pack might be necessary. Even with a zero-fat body that fabric is bound to do funny things to one’s belly button.
Okay but regarding Kendall, in defense of fanny packs, they are the vehicle to a hands free life! I recently bought one from Amazon, this beaut below, and it’s amazing for Music Festivals and Farmers Markets.

We bash the Teabaggers and theocrats in this country like Pence, Cruz, and Falwell every day of the fucking week- it’s not demonization of all 1.6 billion Muslims to do the same with the Islamic fundamentalists in their midst.
By denying that there are aspects of the current practice of Islam that need to be reformed- particularly the way that many Muslims take a literalist interpretation of the Koran- you’re making it much more difficult for those Muslims who are trying to bring about this contemporary reformation.
