My god this is dumb.

“yes, our next car is going to charge 0-100% in 2 minutes, have 10000 miles of range while towing two boats, with 9 people onboard, and cost only $20,000. we ask that you give us a deposit of $1000, and it will delver next month.” - Mlon Eusk.

Hyundai says the Ioniq 6 will hit dealers this spring”

Lol they don’t produce awful light. I mean sure you can always buy bottom of the barrel LED bulbs, but it sounds like you’re basing your experience of them from what was around a decade ago. My LIFX bulbs are absolutely unmatched, especially so with being able to adjust the white balance. The emitted light is far

Here’s an example of someone who thinks electricity is priced too cheap so it’s ok to waste it. Are you also the guy who remote-idles his truck for 20 minutes?

There will always be troglodytes.

This also avoids the hassles of meeting varying rules and restrictions for convertibles, plus you can fit a set of track tires and tools of the back of an 86 while the Miata require a tire trailer or tow vehicle.

The Honda fit is going to be Gen Z’s Miata....other than the Miata of course.

Honda Fit. Cheap, reliable, chuck-able (relatively). Plus plenty of room to carry gear or others to and from the track.

My takeaways from this are as follows:

No Toyoburu recommendations? You can get one nearly new, with a warranty. They’re decent on gas and a shit-ton of fun to drive.

Saw one in the wild yesterday in Cincinnati. They are out there, even if the distance between them could be measured in light-seconds.

Looks like this is mostly for multi-day trips so the customers probably thought this would be a better choice than leaving cars around at the destination for days.

Ah, that makes sense.  Thanks for clarifying.

Most of the updated EV credit regulations don’t kick in until January 1 of next year, including the MSRP cap, but the Made In North America requirement kicks in immediately. These are eligible through the end of the year, after which more restrictions kick in.

How does an $84,650 Hummer qualify if the cap is $80,000?  And a Lucid Air?  And a Tesla S?  And a Tesla X?

Now is the time to seriously look at buying a ‘forever manual sportscar’. Because new manual sportscars are dying. And used manual sportscars in good condition are going to appreciate in value.

But if we could cut their taxes a little more, they could add 50 ft to their yacht and hire another maid, for a real win for the middle class.

You’ll get an HR-V and you’ll shut your whore mouth.
