Maybe if their cars weren’t so butt-ugly, they might sell better

As a C5 Z06 owner...
Anyone ranking the C2 towards the bottom should be tried at The Hague. Regular Car Reviews put it best: it’s the vehicular incarnation of a Stratocaster.
Lockheed Martin.
Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, and or if you can find it, a plug in.
Protip: when your Tesla is at the top of a hill fill the trunks with the heaviest rocks you can find and unload them at the bottom for a free charge.
I had an auto NC (supposedly the “worst” miata”) and I loved it. It made a fine daily driver and a fun cruiser. A lot more space and comfort than the NB I test drove.
I had an ND and it was surprisingly great for a daily. Compliant suspension. Great gas mileage. Fun in almost any situation. I could also stuff a surprising amount of stuff from Costco in it on my way home from work.
As someone rapidly approaching 29 and dailying a Miata, this comment terrifies me.
This. Donut Media did an entire episode on how badly Suzuki got fucked over by the testers.
Bullshit bullshit bullshit. 45 seconds on the google will return a plethora of papers, websites, and articles meticulously detailing exactly how fucked over this vehicle got by bad actors about the rollability of them.
I’ve driven a Samuari extensively, your have to be really, really jerking around to get one to flip. They are far more stable than they look. Remember, they aren’t fast, like 65mph is the end of the world. They are great around town vehicles or beach cars. I’ve off roaded one, and was blown away at the capability.
I drove a 1996 Geo Tracker which isn’t really much different from this in terms of rollability. And I was like, 19. Drove it like an idiot everywhere. I never managed to flip it over. With the manual and the ridiculous first gear you could get it to break traction and drift sideways before it rolled over.
I hate to say it, but the low mileage and desert (presumably rust free) life, combined with the enthusiast market for these...
Fiesta ST
I don’t have any covered parking is the issue. If it rains, the car has to stay outside
Not only the stock seats, but really any other Miata seat rail. If I drop the floor, I can get one of a couple seats specifically designed for that setup. But if I sell the car, someone else can enjoy it as it sits (with the FANTASTIC seats, that I’m gonna miss) and I can get something I fit better in. Everyone wins,…
And then they punched it out a little bit to the 400F. Peter Egan wrote about his in the past. Really a great bike in its time.
Although I haven’t had the pleasure of driving a ton of different cars, the single most fun/$ car I’ve ever driven was a Fiesta ST hands down. There’s just so much spunk and it’s always eager to torque steer you out of a corner (might not be fast, but is really fun at low speeds).
Bathurst 12 Hour mandates one minimum four-minute stop during the race. It doesn’t really matter as long as everyone playing to the same rules.
