Only if the weather outside the cop car was perfect.
You can DD them. It’s not optimal or entirely practical, but you can. But basically a lot of people just think about the engine when considering how fast or powerful a vehicle is, but the weight is important to keep in mind, too. I suppose you could put the turbo diesel engine in an unarmored humvee, or an H1 Hummer,…
It’s primarily because the engine is underpowered in relation to the weight of the vehicle. The uparmored ones have turbo, but the increased weight offsets it, resulting in similar performance.
Honestly, under most conditions it’s hard to get it up to and maintain 60. Breaking 70 MPH would require an act of God.
I don’t think it could go past an indicated 65.
Was that a “microaggression?”
Like all Ferrari’s?
Red (ish), Ferrari, with a manual transmission and pop-up head lights! With 14K miles and less than $90,000. Now that is a great GT car that I would want in my garage.
I too would be in for a partnership between the two. But for what I’m paying on a GTI, make mine an MR762. Hubba hubba.
He was, of course.
A misunderstanding indeed. Sorry.
Bottom of the range? The range will not change. These engines will replace the flat sixes currently used by the Boxster/Cayman. Power will be up and prices will remain the same.
I was thinking these would be ideal to drop into a Beck 550 or 904GTS.
One does not simply monopolize into Mordor.
Really comes down to maintenance, but there were two limo service ones that sold on ebay that had 900,000 miles on the original engines. I have seen pictures of ones where they took the engine out at 700,000 miles I think it was and looked at the internals and they were all still within spec. Ours has almost 190,000…
Apparently between 500k to 800k miles and/or “many.”
Just because you are right does not mean I agree with you.
