That 2006 CRV is boxy and good-looking!  Bring back "boxy"!

So sorry to report that the answer is no.  Nissan makes the Frontier crew cab, extra cab small/ midsize truck with a large V6 or a large I-4.  It returns lousy mileage and is cramped (for its size), if you are 6' tall, like me.

I blame car magazine editors and reviewers. Since at least the late 1980's, nearly every review ended with "nice car overall, but NEEDS MOR POWAAAAAAA!!!"

Legit question here: Why would Buick run incentives on a brand-new model?

Heh, at least the Buick might be bear-proof!

“There’s a new Volvo S60 sedan debuting today and where will this beacon of Swedish design be built? Nowhere else but that bastion of modernism and Scandinavian simplicity: South Carolina. Because nothing says minimalist design quite like Cracker Barrel.”

Anal SHO

.. but hey! 2 whoppers for $6! The diarrhea later is justified!!

I’m for freedom of choice. Condemning others’ choices is petty, and small. I get that Jalopnik writers/bloggers feel that they have some kind of “tastemaker” sway in public opinion, however they must constantly be reminded of their place as a New York liberals’ opinion only, and is regarded as such outside of New York.

“... adequately fund public transportation”

I wouldn’t want to stop this trend. Lifting a car could make it more practical for areas with bad roads or dirt roads. Some areas of the country already do this.

Ok! I walk the part back accusing you of never having left NYC. Did not know you had lived in those places.

It feels good to have “book learning”, and applied experience.

I dont get why trucks keep getting bigger. The F-150 is perfect, but Witherspoon GM, Nissan, Chevy all going bigger, then the Ford may necessarily grow.

“Some cars are so powerfully meh that it’s almost like they have a supernatural ability to disappear from human awareness entirely.”

Glasses. He needs glasses.

Come to the midwest and spend some time. See how much sense it makes to have a small car (does not make a lot of sense).

Whew!! Was afraid that Cadillac was going to have to move back to moms’ basement in New Jersey!

Sweet! Thank you!

What if car manufacturers started offering cars with some SUV-like ride height? Would this help with the ingress/egress, visibility thing?
