I can attest my mom didnt drive like an old fart lol. I got to drive it once was of legal age and it was just a whole different experience than today’s cars. It wasnt fast like my Volvo is, but it felt effortless I guess, the 460 just pulled like a locomotive with smooth effortless power. It floated over road

I’m delighted to see the ‘79 Lincoln made the cut. If you ever drive one of that era, they really are completely different than pretty much anything now. Even a ‘96 Town Car with 238,000 miles felt downright svelte compared to my ‘78 Continental! Shocking that the Conti with a 460 still feels like it can get out of

The Ford powerplant on these is pretty robust - it’s the electrical system that’s the LaForza’s achilles heel. When I bought mine, the headlights didn’t work, due to a short. I got it fixed, but a jump start a few months ago evidently shorted it out again. And mine supposedly has the “upgraded” electrics.

A Checker Marathon with a license plate that says FRESH?

Immediately went looking for one of these:

So close, but I was going to nominate the sibling Chrysler Aspen Hybrid. Rarer by a bit, I think,

Hating because you don’t have the money to buy a Hummer and write it about it on the Internet for more money. Good job.
