Will Verizon let you do that? My dad wanted to use his Eris without a data plan (WiFi only), but Verizon wasn't having any of it.

I pulled mine out of its drawer last week to get an .apk off of it—I could not believe how pokey it is compared to modern devices. My dad's Eris is even worse. Poor man...

I'm not sure I'd say it's "infinitely more useful" than Facebook—Google+ plays into Twitter's court much more than Facebook.

This camera isn't supposed to take pictures while it's connected to the iPad necessarily—rather, it's just a standalone camera that dumps pictures straight onto the iPad.
