Reza's in Chicago. $10 Iranian brunch buffet. Greatest deal of all time.

One of the greatest challenges in painting or drawing is to paint what you see, not what you THINK you see. When an inexperienced painter renders a flower, they're almost always painting what they think "flower" should look like, not what they're seeing in front of them.

I'm not a big food-lover. If they made kibble for humans, I'd probably eat that rather than make meals.

Maybe you're missing the point that this list (like many of their lists), is written tongue-in-cheek.

I guess this settles the debate! [xkcd.com]

Perfect for the discriminating villain who is tired of using hourglasses to count down the time until the hero dies.

To be perfectly honest, I haven't properly auditioned them. Knowing Bowers & Wilkins, though, they're probably fantastic. I'm looking at the Klipsch S4i's, as far as in-ears go.

Rabies is worse. You don't know until like 6 months later. I had a wild rabbit that bit me—it was the most stressful thing ever.

$185?? That's a DAMN deal. Woof.

Bowers & Wilkins P5: Classy. A bit warm-sounding, but I like that. I almost bought a pair, but I needed open-backed 'phones for the office, so I could hear if I was being hailed from another desk. Went with the Grado SR225i's. Still, whoever gets the P5's is a lucky lucky person.

Ahh, I love that story. Reading it again makes me tingle. I'm gonna go drink and play a flight simulator.

Agreed. The first time I ever saw it, I was flipping through the channels at 3am, and it caught my eye. I had no idea what it was.

You know you're just burning to use that #corrections tag... Give in, Mat! Yield to the seductive power of the commentariat's weapon of choice!

Ah, the eighties... How we yearn for the days when men were men and mice were mice.

The hairy palms really make it quite difficult to type, as well.

Given that it's #fancyfriday, could an exception not be made? The French, while good at everything you've mentioned, are also quite good at being fancy.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE "ALL CAPS" COMMENT.

Better luck next time, you ungainly ball of fusion!

Impossible to hate the SR-71. It's too cool. Much too cool. Fiscal responsibility is no match for shock diamonds.
