I hope they come to Kansas City.

Pretty good taek imo.

I was at a wedding recently where a couple who met in DC served this at the reception. Excellent, excellent beer. I also liked Corruption, their IPA, but it was a little on the boozy side for me (that is, for me to drink probably four or five beers, I’m a light weight now). The Public is where its at.

Someone showed me this video of a Cubs Reds fight from 1984. It goes on for about 30 minutes and Harry narrates the whole thing. If you have time to waste today, I recommend you waste it with this.

I think a baseball player’s home debut at bat (call up or trade) has got to be one of the coolest things in sports.

I hate these standards. They’re so vague. Any murder is extremely cruel and atrocious.

Circumstantial evidence can be some of the most powerful evidence there is.

It became a big deal when a sportswriter put it together that Lester hadn’t made a pickoff attempt in 2 years!! Jon Lester lost the AL Wildcard game for Oakland because he couldn’t hold Royals runners on first.

“This was not a big issue until someone brought it up on television. Now I’m sitting answering questions about it.”

Gotta be Choate

"Hang up and Listen" always hates on Verne but the guy is the best. He screws up on names and what not but the man has an incredible voice and knows exactly how to make big moments sound better.

Until I went to law school it never clicked in my mind that the police are the government.

My wife was watching this and said “I thought Deadspin was supposed to be a cool website. This guy’s a nerd.”

These guys were so bad last night I muted it.

I ran the 800 in high school. I split 2:01 on 4x800 relays. I would have to go out hard at like 57-58 if I wanted to run a decent time. If I tried to go even I'd be wasted at the end.

So good +1

In fairness, he spent several minutes afterwards explaining that he was being facetious.
