This was my 12th year participating in NaNoWriMo. What I have learned over those 12 years (for myself):

Ok. I have not seen anyone tie a shoe like this before. I’m a loop, wrap the loop, and pull guy. I tried this knot and then spent five minutes untying said knot. Maybe I did it wrong. I’ll revisit this when my 3 year old is old enough to tie shoes.

From what I read (mind you, this was probably 10 years ago), the original idea was that when Scott Bacula left the show, they were going to go with this idea, but it was never picked up by the network. They just let it die.
