He was such a persistent presence since he hit the big time that, I think, we started taking him for granted. Now that he's gone, we're going to start looking back and seeing what an overwhelming, once-in-a-generation talent he truly was. The scope of his career is utterly breathtaking: the same guy did Mork &

"The world is a fine place, and worth blahblahblah something something....

I gotta admit, I never really thought of it that way, but you're exactly right.

Mauro's the best in the biz with this sort of stuff. He manages to combine lethality with practicality, with a dash of the artistic flair of the 'you can't reason with it' concept that's so cool with robotics. Keloid was freakin' awesome; too bad nothing more will come of it.

The show's been watchable to this point, but that's about the best I can say. Now that the plot's moved on from the actual incident, I don't have to worry so much about a mind-numbingly incompetent CDC investigation, and as a free bonus, some stories can start to be told! That spur-of-the-moment autopsy was pretty

"He was then asked what was misrepresented in the photos."

The baby, working on deep undercover, could not be shown on camera. "YOU'RE IN TOO DEEP, DAVE! I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU ANYMORE!"

Holy shit. I don't get it....I really don't. I don't understand why somebody would go through the process of powering up, logging on, and finding sites to go to, all for the express purpose of spreading misery, bullshit, negativity and overall dickishness. I don't get the appeal of doing this sort of disturbing

The Strain's been renewed, huh? If they don't get some shit straightened out pretty quickly, I wonder if they'll be anybody left watching it. I can suspend my disbelief pretty easily, but that show has so far stretched every one of my limits.

High five!

and miss out on all the fun?? Nah! Dig deep!! You can hack this!

Cool! Thanks for the heads-up!

Damn. Frankly, the effort to post the list of reasons would automatically trump my potential 'butt hurt'.

That's odd. Don't the strippers usually have MORE plastic surgery than the customers?

I'll hold my enthusiasm until he smashes the clock on the scoreboard.

"Let the cocaine-infused, disco-soundtracked swinging BEGIN!! HUZZAH!!"

So, the movie is a empty, soulless attempt to get butts in the seats, with the premise being that the 'reboot' will draw new fans, and also the old ones that want to see what was done with their beloved characters?

It really is a fantastic movie. Russell seems to really enjoy the goofball he plays, and he does it quite well. I wish he would get back more in the game, actually. And yeah, Cattrall is also pretty cool. Strange how easy it is to forget how charming she was in her pre-SATC days.

The kicker is that back then, moviemaking, and movies in general, had balls. Risks were taken; characters were written to be wild, out-of-control, and frightening. Stories were bleak and depressing (one of my favorite genres, in fact, is the post-Watergate, government-conspiracy flicks, like The Parallax View, Three

Damn! I had no idea they were working on that sort of stuff, though I admit, I haven't paid much attention to it in a while. In fact, the last I heard, they were speculating that the Aurora would be limited to surveillance, not quick-response airstrikes (of course, that was back in the days when we didn't seem so
