Right. But at some point, via your decision to vote or not to vote, you make an implicit choice about which position you support. And then it gets very complicated from there.

His biggest problem is relying on Singer, an ostensible apologist for Bill Gates types. Whereas you seem to find the distinction between different types of charity negligible, another position would argue that charity does exactly depend on empathy, and we can see that most charity is evil.

I’m not a Trumpeter, but he’s made it clear that he thinks the Iraq War was a horrible war of choice. That puts him above W and the Cheney/Rummy/Wolfowitz NeoCon cabal.

Seriously though, if Trump scares you, Cruz should terrify you. Teddy Boy is a hardcore ideologue, and an awful human being. Trump’s playing to the peanut gallery; Cruz is a true believer.

He’s also a Trump fan. And he probably roots for the Empire when they strike back.

It’s nice to see someone exhibit that kind of dedication to his craft.
