My neighbor came home with a new Traverse, and I totally asked him about the standard 3-row seating and class-leading interior volume.

Indeed... Browsing through the comments and seeing old names that are rarely seen these days is also a weird look back. It’s like a high school yearbook. Remember Potbelly Joe? Matt Hardigree?! Time flies.
Ah, the good ol' days of COTD awards. Seems like forever ago.
You don't feel any bumps in that car because of its suspension.
Starred for Isla Fisher. She is definitely my brand of hot.
That's Inception-like commenting. I’m left confused, just like the movie.
Yeah, when shopping in ‘16, we had a Highlander for a weekend felt it was too large. We chose to take an extended test drive with it because it wasn’t as ridiculously sized as the Traverse/Acadia, Pilot, Durango, or Explorer. We ended up in the Santa Fe Sport, which was bigger than the then-current RAV4, but nowhere…
That $640,000 is before rebates. It’s more like $400,000, right?
I agree, sort of. Toyota could use a 5-seater to compete with the Blazer, Edge, Grand Cherokee, Passport, or even the current Santa Fe. They’re all right-sized without the bloat of the Highlander. I don’t need 3 rows, but would appreciate a little more room than the RAV4.
I like these. I’m driven each a couple of times, and they’re nice cars that feel strong. However, Dodge is the only non-luxury brand that can legitimately claim to have a full-sized performance sedan.
Garbage. $800, or $1,000 if the Star Wars sh*t were removed.
The Pilot has always been homely, even today. The first generation is the least ugly model.
Thank you. That was...helpful. I wonder if the professional automotive writer knew that widely known detail. Say... Is the Frontier Nissan’s version of the Tacoma? I’ve long wondered.
I’ve owned a ‘12 V6 Frontier since new, which has essentially the same powertrain as the Pathfinder. I haven’t had any reliability issues with it in almost 7 years. The Frontier and Pathfinder also shared the same hard plastics and fit & finish. It’s passable for the Frontier, at least in my view since I use the truck…
This movie was the only reason I wanted a Daytona Turbo.
The Armada was quite a bit larger than the XTerra. There was room for a model in between.
Somebody did, about 3 hours earlier.
Wasn’t he the traffic jam today?
