My labeling it a minivan several comments ago was facetious. You obviously can’t detect that. In the end, the huge Traverse is closer to minivans than truck-based SUVs like Suburbans. I get that it's not a minivan. I called it one in jest.

You’re in denial if you don’t recognize the Traverse is more akin to the minivan set than the Suburban, et al. GM abandoned the minivan market because they felt the first-gen Lambdas filled that market segment. The Lambda effectively killed the Buick Terraza and Chevy Venture. They’re front-wheel-drive based unibodies…
Ostensibly, it is, but less practical.
It’s a better-looking minivan than the Pacifica, Odyssey, or Sienna.
I would have guessed an early-2000s Malibu, but the Five Hundred is definitely equivalent.
This should win the award for crackiest of crack pipes, and the award should be fashioned from crack.
They don't offer a Suburban fighter with any motor.
What is your definition of "a decent price"?
FYI... Returning in the “forth” quarter. I hate when I make those types of mistakes.
Him: “My Concord has the Landau roof, which was an option. What do you think of it?”
I presume it’s because it doesn’t get as many clicks since $kaycog ceased her awards.
I’m convinced by his authoritative tone. I used to think there were other reasons, but now I know there’s one and only one reason: world dominance.
I'd like to see the current ES350's grille on a 2nd generation ES300. I'm sure it's just as outlandish.
You evidently didn’t read my later comment about driving multiple Kias. Lexus has a well-earned, longstanding reputation for reliability and quality, dating back to its inception and backed up by evidence since. It’s not too long ago that Kia was a laughingstock in the industry. They closed the gap, for sure, but…
You mean Yukon? Under $30K? You’ll be compromising something.
This seems like the target for most of the Acura lineup. Go for the TLX SH-AWD. They’re easy to find well below the $30K threshold, reliable, and not a CUV.
The same type who, in the truck world, see a Raptor as justifiable.
I agree. I’ve driven the K900, Cadenza, and even the new Telluride. They’re all nice, and not the “nice for a Kia” type of nice, but legitimately nice. But the first two... Rarely seen. Especially the K900.
The Cadenza is the nice car Buick wishes it had. These are truly nice, but Kia doesn't have the brand equity to get the buyers.
Nah... No thanks. For one, I’d rather have the Tahoe/Yukon of the era. Better V8 and more modern appearance (in my eyes). More to the point, though, the rust and the broken rear window are deal-breakers for me. I love roll-down rear windows, and it’s sad they’re only offered at Toyota these days. This Bronco had one,…
