Well, CDMA networks will always be slower than HSPA/HSPA+ networks. If I remember correctly, EV-DO Rev A tops out ~3 Mbps. Had Sprint/Verizon actually rolled out Rev B, it would have been more like ~9 Mbps.

I used to get ~1 Mbps on Sprint, which was only a 3-4 months ago, so I say they're network must be suffering right now

Theoretically, every iPhone can run Siri fine. Siri was an app until Apple bought them out and integrated it into iOS. Siri was able to run on even the original iPhone. Most likely Apple saved it for the 4S as another incentive to buy/upgrade.

Actually you can. The 4S has the same antenna bands as the VZW iPhone but with a SIM slot on the side. Unless of course you have a case, then no one can really tell at a quick glance.
