If Drew had thought of this 15 years ago, she would be a hell lot more popular than she already is. I’ve tried to think of other reasons why I like Drew but I keep circling back to the word “cute”. I apologize.

Hopefully he has a nice valet or butler or tennis instructor or Secret Service Agent to provide a decent male role model.

If Trump has said more than 500 words to Barron in his entire life, I’d be shocked.

Any time Trump talks about Barron it seems like he’s barely met him. But he’s seen a recent pic, so he knows the kid is tall and of course he’s got to be gorgeous with his perfect genes and all. Have they ever spoken??

Obama’s cadence was strange, but there was it does make sense. Putting short pauses in your speaking helps people absorb and process what you are saying, which can make it more impactful. Those pauses are also a good way to avoid saying Umm. When I taught speech classes, I would have students practice this instead of

My Barron. My freakishly tall Barron. He’s very tall. And immune. My immune Barron. He’s very immune. Like me, and Melania. We’re all very immune.

But reading a transcript of an Obama speech makes perfect sense.
When you read a Trump transcript, you realize that while the words he were saying were English, and they made sense when you heard them, they are actually word salad that makes Sarah Palin sound like a Rhodes Scholar.

Poor kid always looks so miserable.

I used to think Obama’s speaking cadence was so strange... now I cry when I listen to the Hamilton remix of “One Last Time” where he narrates Washington’s farewell address.

She talked about how her husband had Covid, and her 92-year-old father, who she thought might not survive, and she laid it out: because Donald Trump did nothing, and his incompetence made it worse.

Senator Amy Klobuchar delivered a firm blow against the Republican Party

Yep! Thank you for saying this. Most people take oxygen for granted. I have severe asthma, and just a regular cold will knock me down for weeks (minimum), or often months of it turns into a respiratory infection. On a good day, even on multiple controller meds and using a rescue nebulizer or inhaler, I still struggle

Frequent steroid patient here: He was only able to walk up those stairs because of steroids. The crash is coming soon, though! They raise you from near death and give you a temporary burst of energy and feeling of overall wellness. But the crash is THE WORST and it lasts for a long, long time. And I’m so so ready to

Well, it’s far more important that we restore and maintain the civility and collegiality of the Senate than pass any of that legislation, which isn’t actually going to impact any of those Democratic Senators’ lives anyway.

It would be self defense. This fucker should have been quarantined and never allowed to leave the hospital. A friend posted something on Facebook that “he just wanted to go home to die.”  I hope so, but I think it’s more likely he just couldn’t bear to be out of the spotlight for that long.

I feel like the early/late dividing line is “at this time, if I’m not already out, am I more likely to go out than not if asked” and the odds are better at 9 than at 10, therefore, 9 is early. Especially in the summer when it’s still light out

Oh, I get up between 5 and 6. I don't sleep a ton.

It’s early for me. I don’t go out starting at 9 these days (who goes out at allll in 2020?), but I’m not washing my face and getting my pajamas on either... I'm usually up til midnight. Mr. Jackal, however, is within his “ I may fall asleep reading/watching this” window.

I’ve taken professional certification exams that were friggen open internet. Because in your day to day like you’re going to be able to Google something, and the test cared a lot more about how you used what you found to inform your decision making.
