Yes a really good film. Lovely with great performances all around.

That is true also. I guess what I meant is the metaphorically you can look at it both ways. It is an entity that ties every awful event in Derry into one thing if that makes any sense.

Night Shift is a masterpiece. Brilliant stuff.

Absolutely the ending is weak including the bizarre orgy but the proceeding 1000 pages are fantastic.

Pennywise is a manifestation of the towns rot and evil which is one reason why it appears in many forms although most notable Pennywise. Its also why the asides about the towns history are some of the most powerful and meaningful. You are very much simplifying the book.

I'm still annoyed that Elsie and that guys she was always trading barbs with (can't remember his name) we're shuffled off so abruptly.

I really hope this doesn't get shoved aside when awards come around by being called chick TV or something. Its not perfect but its also just really good storytelling with excellent acting across the board.

Really the 90s birthed some of the best directors working today in America like PTA, Fincher, the Coens, Spike Jonze, Tarantino, and more. 1999 is one of the best films years in history.

Oh and The Relic holds up. There is something creepy about a dark museum at night.

Love Breakdown. J.t. Walsh makes a great bad guy in it.

I actually really liked Runnin Home To You

This is one my favorite dishes but I find it hard to find a great version of it. It has to hit the sweet spot of being flavorful but not too rich.

Its so nice to see Kidman giving great material that suits her. I love Kidman but I feel that a lot of directors don't quite know how to use her talents to the best of her ability. Between this and Lion she's killing it.

Dan Chaon is one of my favorite writers. You are correct "The Bees" is an excellent story. Just put his new book on my library que.

Come on you have to tell us more than that. Tell us about shoot.

No.

it looks like a gag.

The childhood sections are fantastic. The last section of Sean Penn looking confused and wandering the desert not so much.

I still don't understand Squirm. Are the worms invisible? Why do they appear and disappear at will? How do they stalk people?

Love Werewolf. The security guard turning into a werewolf while driving is great.
