Fargo is still my favorite out of this line-up.

Great year. Also Hard Eight is good. Too bad its a generally forgotten film.

I would say International Assassin ties.

Loved Mission impossible. Its so wonderfully stylish and feels more like a spy film than any other MI film.

I'm more interested if the O.J. Simpson writers will be aboard. They made the show great. The less involvement from Murphy the better.

Love Amy Adams and this looks great. Although still don't know why she got nominated for The Master. Did she do something award worthy?

Can they make the characters interesting this time. I saw it because a number of critics kept saying the first half was interesting. They must have seen a different first half. I saw a dull character drama with flat characters.

The hatred for Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20 here is weird to me. I mean I don't love the band although I do like some of these singles but my goodness did Rob kill your dog or something. He seems like a pleasant guy.

Its weird I feel like Fiona Apple is an underrated artist. I mean she made 4 fantastic albums and shes pretty critically loved but I feel like she never broke out big time.

Why would you lump The National with The Lumineers. I'd like to see The Lumineers try to make an album as tenth as good as Alligator.

I still play Utopia Parkway and Welcome Interstate Manager. Great albums.

I agree. He's terrible now but American Psycho is a masterpiece in my eyes and Rules of Attraction as a novel I think is kind of underrated.

true

I wish all the scenes were Turturro scenes. I'm just not that interested in Naz anymore.

I don't know how anyone can watch this show and think the Walter Goggins character is a hero. The guy is a stone cold sociopath that makes the asshole McBride character look somehow lovable.

I love New Adventures in Hi-fi. They're something about that album that gets under your skin.

I might be in the minority but I prefer BBE to this author. Rules of Attraction, American Psycho, and Glamorama I think are all better than Bright Lights Big City.

Finished American Pastoral. Wow that book is brilliant. I've mostly stayed away from Roth after not being able to get into Sabbaths Theater or The Plot Against America but I loved this. I also really like the film adaptation of Indignation.

I always thought Phantasm was sort of an art house version of a horror film but maybe that's just me.

Its a lovely book that takes an out there premise and really makes it work. Not sure how it will work on screen but the book is great.
