Didn't like Interstellar or Dar Knight Rises but Nolan is fantastic and that is a great teaser.

I believe the frogs is a way to lift the characters who are all locked into world os loneliness and regret into the the realm of the divine or unknown for at least a moment. I find it to be a surprisingly spiritual film without ever saying the word God.

Cider House Rules isn't actually bad. Its a good film of a far better book but shouldn't have been nominated for best picture. It a nice mid budget adult drama that would never be made today by a stuido

Agreed Magnolia is an extraordinary and powerful autobiographical film. I love how Anderson plays the film like an opera. The editing is also killer in the film.

I love Magnolia. What a tremendous powerful film.

I was actually not a huge fan of the novel. Yet I think the premise, idea, and characters are so good this could make a great series. Overall though I thought it was a poorly structured and not that well written book. I think the show can improve. I mean the mean the mythology is fascinating. Oh and get rid of the

Why I thought he was good in Dallas Buyers Club?

To be fair he was a dick and hard to work with in Gangs in new York.

I don't really get why people care so much about Leto's Method acting. Most Method acting is weird but then again who cares. Its really about Leto. If Daniel Day Lewis was doing this nobody would care.

Surprised about the A minus. I'm getting a little antsy. At least Naz finally took protection. Watching him still stumbling about with the same expression was getting old. At least with him taking the offer there will be a little momentum.

Agreed

The Carpenter version is the best. I still wonder what Carpenter's career would have been like had he not been raked over the coals critically when he released it.

Finishing up Imagine Me Gone and then I'm going to start American Pastoral in preparation for the film. Don't really care for Roth but I thought I would give this a try.

Ill give you that but mostly I just found the movie to be ridiculous. I mean the scene where he's talking to the Cartel crime Lord begging to call everything off drove me mad. It sounded so ridiculous and pretentious and why would anyone let alone a Cartel boss talk endlessly like this.

Didn't care for The Rover but I found Animal Kingdom to be riveting. Fantastic film.

God I hated The Counselor. The dialogue sounded so silly, the characters were all humorless bores, and the plot was not coherent enough to be interesting. I couldn't figure out what the point of the film was aside from everything being terrible. Do not get the love.

This is kind of funny stupid. They do realize that Cooper is an actor right and didn't sign onto Sniper to espouse his political beliefs.

So much line dancing in new moon rising

Actually Timeline is very good and very underrated. It could have been a great adventure film.

I find it easy to like him because Jurassic Park, Congo, Sphere, Eaters of The Dead are great books. I really love Congo.
