Why does it have to have validity?

Too bad the show is great reality TV. I mean it has nothing to do with making a great movie or even with filmmaking that much but its great reality television. All four greenlight films are awful.

Sing Street is probably my favorite of the year so far. Great movie that seems to be getting lost in the shuffle. Also loved The Invitation.

That isn't even close to the point of the book. Yates has as much disdain for the Wheelers as with everyone else.

What do people think of A Hologram For A King? That's a great book.

Can't wait for this. I feel like Eggars is hated here but Hologram For King was great so I'm excited for this.

Whats the 2nd book in the series. I remember really enjoying the middle portion of American Gods but finding the ending to be a big whiff. I read it a long time ago though.

I never read the novel Firestarter. Is there a lot of Firestarter in this show?

I've always heard that Norton is a bit chilly. Wonder if he is required to speak to you.

Most likely.

I haven't really liked a Coldplay album since Viva La Vida. Wish they would make an album as good as that again or great as a Rush of Blood.

I really didn't like The Twelve at all so I didn't pick this up. Loved The Passage though.

Loved City of Thieves. Sped through that.

listen to the cannon podcast over on Devin Faraci's site. He and Amy Nicholson do a great job of explaining why Boogie Nights is a classic.

I have a sneaking suspicion the way the film buisness is going he isn't going to make a lot more films. I mean Megan Ellison won;t always be around to bail him out with money.

Sorry you didn't love Boogie Nights. The purpose of the subplots is that its a sprawling movie and I found them all riveting. What a perfect film with an exceptional screenplay. As far as Inherent Vice everyone here know how much I hate that.

Family Fang is very good. One of the more underrated films of the year.

Finished it last night it one long marathon. Very much enjoyed it. Here are a few thoughts.

agreed

What would you say are some of popular mainstream indie rock albums of the 90s that still hold up.
