I liked the show but it was mainly because of the adult actors giving interesting performances. Since they're dead or frozen not sure if I'm that interested.

I loved the early years of MadTV. I feel like everybody thinks the later years when most of the veterans had departed was the whole show. It wasn't.

So Hamilton is a misleading musical. Its mostly pretty accurate event wise far more than JFK. It sounds like you're just resentful against the musical part.

Even though I didn't like the film the 70MM print I saw of The master was gorgeous.

Agree to disagree I loved it. This season is up there with Lost season 1 except I there was a nice sense of finality with this episode.

I loved it. I couldn't get through the first season but this second season has been extraordinary. i mean really splendid. Its the best thing Lindeloff has ever done.

I missed that. Its such a great show though I mean how do you mess it up.

I would love to see them do Music Man, Oklahoma, Gypsy, or Annie Get Your Gun next.

I find it amazing how this show went from being something I quit halfway through season 1 to being consistently exceptional in season 2. Can someone explain why?

Are you sure musicals are popular again or it that everyone loves Hamilton (as they should as its amazing).

I think he wasn't too interested because of the negative reaction the film got. Also I don't think the studio cared.

I remember seeing this in high school and loving it but everyone in my class hated it. I didn't meet one person who liked it. Would of loved to have seen people actually embrace it at the time and maybe Night would have continued with the story.

Agreed but Dowd nailed that Jeopardy speech. That really got me.

Ann Dowd was amazing in that final scene.

My favorite DVD extra is That Moment on the Magnolia DVD. Its very honest and direct about how a film goes in all stages.

Punch Drunk Love does ask him to pull off a really tricky tone and he does manage that beautifully.

He did but then he made Inherent Vice which was terrible. I mean I'm not a fan of The Master but he legitimately great in it.

i agree but in this instance bad writing is bad writing.

I wish Season 2 was batshit or insane. It was mostly just dull.

I feel like Ive forgotten most of season 2 already including its "mystery". Totally uninteresting in every way.
