And they are still pulling that crap with electric vehicles. And if the math still doesn’t work out for them with the cheats already in place, they’ll factor in a battery replacement or two. They also love to throw that into cost of ownership, as well.

kinda like blowing an engine.  boss got a bill for 14k for a used bmw 535 engine.  17k for a new one.

As someone who drives 700 miles each way every day, up a mountain in both directions, in the snow while also simultaneously towing, this really resonates with me. EVs will never work for anyone.

and then there are the dipshits who love to say 20k for battery replacements. tesla forums this morning someone had to get their model y battery replaced and it was only 9K. and thats right now with prices through the roof.

The Aztek is minimally larger than a current RAV4. Current 3 row crossovers exist and are over 200" long. My Wrangler was 155" long. Size is irrelevant.

I would not put a one off Ferrari on the list of the most important cars of the 21st century.

I think the Tesla Model S is an obvious one that needs to be on the list.  That was the first proper Tesla.

If we must, here’s the list of wrong statements:

Actually correcting inaccurate statements is not missing the point. Yes it would have been clearer had you said that rather than stating inaccuracies.

Uh, clearly you’ve never been in either an S or X Plaid. There is no waiting for Ludicrous mode if you are in Plaid mode. You will stomp nearly every other car from a light. You will also stomp nearly every other car in 60-100, 60-120, 60-150, you name it. Plaid’s make 911 Turbos look like they have a boat anchor

Stop. Just stop. Rollout is and has been the standard measurement of 0-60 for ages. There is nothing tricky going on. Its the quickest 4 door sedan on the planet and yes, on a drag strip with official timing equipment will do 0-60 in 1.9 sec. Period.

Our Taycan has a glass roof and lives outside in California where it’s been in the 90s-100f for the last month. The glass roof is actually tinted and hasn’t been issue. As long as the Lucid’s AC is good I can’t imagine it being a problem.

I have a glass roof in my Mach-E, and I’m always amazed at how much of a non-issue it is in the summer.

The 0-60 times you mean? There are a zillion YouTube videos confirming the Plaid’s time to 60.

Those are both sedans, sure.

The Tesla Model S is 10 years old and as far as I know,”

Mostly the same on the outside, but pretty much every mechanical part has been updated. The interior is also entirely new.

You know what sucks about a $150k Model-S Plaid?

As a C5 Z06 owner...

Any ranking of Corvette generations that doesn’t have the C2 at the top is wrong.
