Pretty sure someone has said the same thing about all the other models they’ve had.

The Cybertruck has the largest bed of the EV trucks launched so far and the cab is clearly comparable to a typical full size pickup.
By all accounts they aren’t even doing production level engineering yet. They’re still doing basic design work. the Cyber Truck will be a available early 2024 at best.
Tesla has three key advantages in the EV space. First, they’ve built a premium brand. Just like Apple staked out major marketshare with the iphone and…
1st Gear: I don’t really blame Tesla for this. The original plan was to build that plant in Texas and have it crank out Cybertrucks from the start.
I saw the cactus gray with steelies, and I was irrationally attracted to it. And there's definitely some green in it.
It’s better than the fugly stuff being churned out by GM though.
“Placed a deposit on a Model 3 on the first day. The $35k model didn’t materialize, so I got my money back.”
I test drove a BMW i4 M50 and it made me an EV believer. I agree that it felt and drove like a BMW. Would I miss the Vroom Vroom noises my M340i makes? Yes, yes I would. But the i4 made me realize that maybe our electric vehicle future might not be so bad.
Considering the size of the Model X windshield I’m sure the Tesla design team is already very familiar with any regulation regarding wiper size. Don’t worry, the design is still dumb for lots of other reasons.
The Bolt EV is sized like a Sonic, not a Spark. Plus the lowest trim level available on the Bolt is 1LT, not the same as the Spark's 1LS trim level.

Wasn’t the obvious answer a Tesla Model Y?
According to Bloomberg, the Volkswagen CEO said that Elon Musk’s car firm was “moving very fast,” adding that it was a “very focused” company able to move “twice as fast as the rest of the industry.” And, not wanting to be left in Tesla’s wake, Diess wants VW to catch up.
I’ve done multiple 500+ mile trips in my Niro EV, so it definitely can. About 45 minutes of stops each way for charging which I personally didn’t mind.
I think... my car is about .18c a mile to drive.
For someone doing a long commute EVs are perfect.
I’d love to buy and EV and I’m ready to make the switch today (and the article is correct in that it’s not about gas prices)… but nobody is making the EV I want to buy (yet). Come on Porsche, that EV Boxster can’t come soon enough.
For me, price is the sole reason.
This article omits the single biggest reason (for me at least) that people might not be thinking about buying an electric vehicle. I’m not currently in the market for a new vehicle at all, much less a specific type of vehicle.
