I think I like the look of this more than the Buzz. I’ll duck now.

fuck, this is dumb
I’ve been on a Honda kick for... like three years now. RSXes, Civic Sis, Integra, even fifth-get Preludes

My dislike for Tesla knows few bounds, but this one I don’t get at all - why would you WANT to run AA on a Tesla? It has about the best infotainment system you can get in a car already, and certainly better than the crap that is AA. And it IS mostly crap, just better crap than most car’s built in crap.
omission of such an otherwise ubiquitous feature would be inexcusable, but Tesla manages to get away with it
In the UK, the first floor is actually one flight above ground level (so could depend on who was reporting that story).
(As a model 3 owner myself) You don’t have to be driving inefficiently per se, but when you drive off from your home while the battery is cold, your efficiency is garbage for the first couple miles as the car preconditions it’s battery. So you can see a 15 mile drop in the energy chart range estimator from just from…
Everything about him from this article indicates that he isn’t much of a thinker.
Good point. The Tesla rep likely was spitballing and probably told the guy about what it would cost to install in a regular garage and when the installer actually had a chance to see that it would take 100' or more of conduit and wire, they gave the real eye-watering cost.
It makes me wonder what amount the Tesla sales rep claimed, and in what context the claim was made. Was it a passing estimate given with some assumptions or generalizations? Or was it an estimate built upon this guy’s specific situation? Is it in writing? Etc.
To me it sounds like he didn’t really do any research in what it was going to cost him. I replacing my furnace and A/C soon and I had 3 different companies quote me on how much it was going to cost me. And if I lived in an apartment the last type of vehicle I would get would be an EV since you probably are not going…
“Uh.... Is it also unfair to pick apart a almost 10 year old car Model S cars from Tesla now for its shoddy build quality?”
When he first took the Tesla Model X out, the vehicle’s range indicator said that Roman had drained 15 miles from the battery after he had driven less than a half-mile from his home.
Is it also unfair to pick apart a almost 10 year old car Model S cars from Tesla now for its shoddy build quality?
It’s unfair to pick apart a prototype for its specific issue related to non-serial build quality. General issues and serial build quality will be enough to pick it apart when its time.
I know plenty of people can’t tell the difference between the various Tesla models after the refresh, but you would have to be fairly blind to car styling to not be able to tell the difference between the nose cone design of the original Model S and the new one, as that is a quite a defining feature in cars.
The 911 had no major styling changes between 1964 and 1989. They seem to have done alright.*
Ten year old design with no major styling changes in that time
gotcha was remembering it wrong
The hummer only gets that CO2 with driving if you charge it by the average american electric grid and assume that grid never gets cleaner (which is not the case) Is can be charged with zero emissions electricity and owners can do that through their electric company without installing…
