I mean we already charge you $65 for stapling some papers together and you’re okay with that fee so...”

L2 would not be sufficient for normal operations at a dealership. An average day might be a dozen deliveries, plus that many rolling off of haulers, plus three dozen test drives, plus whatever the service department needs. If that’s all, or even mostly, electric the logistics are not manageable with charge times

with a multimeter. you dont need to put power through something to know if its working. itll measure correctly if its working.

If you think you need an SUV, you probably don’t.

All else being equal, RWD>FWD. But all else is almost never equal. A MINI or Abarth or something like that can offer a lot of fun for the money where otherwise, you’d have to drive something older (BMW) or more expensive (BMW) or less practical (Miata) to have more fun.

-If governments force everyone to drive an EV, it will be a net reduction in the average person’s quality of life.

That said: I don’t expect to be able to fill my car with gas at the dealership. I suspect the trend for high capacity chargers at auto dealerships will be short lived.

So if I were to buy an EV and install a charger at my house, would I have to upgrade my electric service, too?

How do you test a DC Fast Charging repair if you don’t have one?

I recently test drove a Mach E and it didn’t impress me, but “barely focus level” it was definitely not comparable to any Focus I’ve ever seen. Maybe a high end new, European one that that don’t sell in the US?

When they build the Polestar 2 in the US (or Belgium where they build the XC40 on the same platform), I’d definitely consider one... but they don’t now, so it’s off my list.

When that happens, I would consider one, but they don’t build any in the US, now.

Pretty big oversight that this wasn’t mentioned in the article, IMO... especially since single-motor versions of EVs (with available AWD) are pretty frequently RWD (Teslas, VWs, etc.).

You missed a couple big issues, IMO:

My point is that they *clearly* have prioritized the higher trims. I don’t believe for a second that there’s an outside reason that they’re selling ~80% Lariats/Platinums this model year. That was a decision on their part. Sure, they’d love to increase TOTAL production if they could, but they definitely chose to make

There wasn’t a “moved to 2023" email so much as a “we’ve invited everyone who is getting a 2022, and you weren’t one of them” email. Happened about a week ago. It just meant you aren’t getting a 2022, not that you’ll necessarily get a 2023, either. Unless they substantially increase the percentage of lightnings that

My 2000 Mustang had a driver’s side fender badge on the passenger side... so the horse was running backwards on that side.

Hmm... I have an existing Bronco reservation and I live in Florida.

I think the petition and uproar about it is silly, but you’re totally right that this article is either incredibly poorly researched OR purposely misleading. Maybe both.

In the picture of the toilet area, on the right side there is a bunk bed. That’s 2, and then the “table” area turns into a bed.
