Yeah, the towing capacity is the number that jumped out to me. Demolishes the Bronco and Wrangler.

The CCS network has greatly improved. It’s not as bad as some superfans would claim. And I wouldn’t disqualify a non-Tesla based on the network (I have a Lightning reservation). But if someone asked me what would be the most seamless, user-friendly charging experience, I’d tell them Tesla for sure.
The main way so far is that they’re blocking non-fleet Pro buyers from buying the Extended Range battery.
I thought they dropped the EV tax credits from the bipartisan infrastructure deal that was just made. Maybe I misunderstood something.
You’re right. I didn’t consider the rebates.
IIRC the XLT doent even get the upgraded 300 mile range as standard. So yeah were is this extra $10k coming from?
I think the only thing that will slow the sales of this down is that you can get half the truck for half the price with Maverick.
Exactly.
the only thing that makes really them any better than direct EV rivals is range. So getting a low range Tesla doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
“Xtreme Recon” sounds like the name someone would pick if they were making a Jeep-owner parody.
A Nissan Versa is a golf cart with doors.
You can only load games while the cars are in park, and it won’t let you put the car in drive until you exit the game.
Your fancy dates mean nothing, Scott.
Tesla is becoming the master of the fuzzy launch. Things “launch” that aren’t produced
Get the original designer back, have them pen the refresh.
I dont think Model 3 is cannibalizing sales of the S. The 2 cars drive very different and IMO the S drives nicer and is still the more desirable car to have.
That’s the thing, the average S class or 5 series buyer doesn’t care about having the fastest car. They aren’t buying an AMG or M car, and this is where Merc and BMW are really making their money.
Beat me to it!
MSRP wasn’t guarnateed with the Mach E for reservation holders, BUT Ford execs on Twitter offered to help people switch dealers to someone who would sell for MSRP, so Ford definitely was pressuring them to not charge markups. Hopefully that will happen for the Lightning, too.
If you had the ability to extrapolate information, then you’d be able to connect the dots between the interview with Panasonic’s battery head and canceling a high margin product.
