There are differences between Autopilot and FSD and I’m not talking about the $10,000 difference.

Tesla calls the system Autopilot and doesn’t enforce hands on

Late 60s.

Wild colors actually tend to have good resale, I believe. The most recent study I saw on the matter said yellow had the best resale. I’m sure it depends on the car, too.

I find it rich when a Tesla fan boy knocks ANY other manufacturer for their quality or reliability.

even though these cars are still only in the hands of the automotive press.

Thanks. Mine’s actually just a Cooper with the N16. Wanted to be able to use it for SCCA B-Spec racing when it’s “retired” from being a DD.

Basically “Sorry but your SR is delayed for 2 months. However we can get you a SR+ in 2 weeks.”

Seriously you are defending selling cars based on a secret menu? Models not listed on the website when 80% of Tesla vehicles are ordered online?

It’s a loss. I have a 2008 Cooper S Clubman that is a hatchback/tiny wagon mash-up, and it is so great. Can carve corners AND carry two 50 pound dogs in comfort.

The $35,000 base Model 3 was offered for sale February 28th 2019. 8 week later it was pulled from the website. Yes, supposedly the base Model 3 was available on a secret menu after that if you called them and asked to buy it. In May 2019 the price on the secret menu base Model 3 was increased to $35,400. Best case

Then why single out the Cybertruck if you think they’re ALL vaporware? Doesn’t make sense.

However even Mini considers then to be different models. They’re different cars. Note that wheelbases vary.

That is a different car. They don’t even have the same name.

Yes, the base version will go on sale last just like the Model 3 and Model Y. Then it will be sold for a couple months tops and discontinued. That is the pattern from the Model 3 and Y.

I wanted the original MINI E in ~2009, but you had to live in LA or NJ to get one, and I lived in FL. Does that count? haha

By that definition, all the vehicles in this article are “vaporware”.

Stop, let me explain: true two door hatches (no, a liftback doesn’t count even though it’s morphologically similar) are superior to the same car with four doors (and a hatch) in only one way, aesthetics.

The 2 door hatchback makes 0 sense, especially if you are making a 4 door of the same vehicle.

I think Rivian or GM will be beat them to production, but by next year sometime, Cybertrucks will be coming off the line faster than both of them combined, IMO.
