I mean if your publisher’s output has a fairly visible stance on Cyberpunk’s publisher, it certainly is.

As they should. If Marvel has taught us anything, it’s that universal acclaim generally consists of a very specific type of output. That’s neither good nor bad, but any art can be designed to do different things.
It’s best to just post the That Mitchell and Webb Look - Apprentice sketch. Pretty much all Gawker editorial decisions make perfect sense if you understand it.
That’s not very fair though. Witcher3 is essentially the final unwinding of a two game story build which I won’t say is easy (plenty of games and media have missed the mark) but is a great example of doing it well.
Reads the article.
Yes and no.
Unlike The Witcher 3’s fleshed out, compelling sidequests, many of the minor activities that pop up on my map or into my journal are basic and forgettable, fights against human enemies that lack the visual interest or behavioral quirks of monsters in The Witcher 3.
Isn’t it easier to believe that it’s only small subset of fans that actually want to spend 30 minutes in a character creator generating a character rather than play the main game group?
I’ve known plenty of gamers that geek out using one of these things but I’ve never been one of them. The longer I’m not playing the…
For me its just that the setup for this story for better or worse doesn’t work in a comic film. Remove the genders and what you have a is a severe power imbalance movie. There are genres for this but they are generally horror and thriller.
It’s not that online leftists are irrelevant. It’s that online leftists are inconsistent in effort put forth and thus become a bizarre mix of inconsequential and critical to the party. They are inconsequential in that they never, EVER turn up in sufficient numbers to push an election for more than 4 years leaving the…
Bingo - Governing (or at least doing so without causing massive riots and or possible danger to the populace) is a game of concession, consensus and and continual selling.
Collins made her bed and she knows it. A meaningless no vote where it doesn’t matter doesn’t hold the same weight as it did when the President was on the line.
Moderates have seen her allegiance and whether or not they agree with it is the only question. She’ll vote across party lines when it does not substantially…
The warped humor was often a big draw to these games. It’s not like games like Space Quest or Beneath a Steel Sky or even The Longest Journey didn’t realize their puzzles were absurd - they were a big part of the hilarity.
Props to the screenwriter on that one. First time I saw it, did not expect it. Should have. Didn’t.
Yea - I love Nolan. But I did get mad when suddenly it switched from Chi to NY. Fake one or fake the other. Don’t fake both.
The problem is the style is so exaggerated, I’m not even sure you could make it realistic since you wouldn’t even see a reasonable facsimile in real life.
Thing is you can view this as a continuation of what is now a fairly ingrained woman-power=queer trope though. We’ve got this, Steven Universe, Xena, Batwoman, Wonder Woman DCEU eludes to it, Valkerie, CWVerse, etc.
Eh, I’m skeptical. The problem with Kylo Ren and Catra comparisons is we’re shown much more of Catra being something other than a raging man-child. A lot of care was put into that character, where as Kylo (as many noted at the time) came off as a fairly one-note strawman of toxic masculinity.
If the Democrats can actually barnstorm an election I think “what he’ll veto” is a far smaller list than people think.
The purpose most moderates have, ISN’T to remove progressive policy items. It’s to field candidates in purple areas that have a chance of winning. You simply accept that you stand a better chance of…
That is certainly one way to look at the Republican party waiting for Bernie to lose steam before having their political apparatus take over. Last Sunday was pretty much a bot extraveganza and the Reade allegations were everywhere.
