I sideloaded the new Google Calendar (Android version) and it is gorgeous! Be warned however that it doesn't support Google Apps accounts for the email scanning feature. Also in keeping with Google's m.o., it doesn't integrate GTasks which is a deal-breaker for me so I'm still using Sol Calendar.

Hands down Pushbullet is my app of 2014. I've been onboard from the early stages and I've turned into a crazy lady evangelist about it! It's definitely what Airdroid wanted to be but wasn't. My one feature request would be for a PB add-on for the MacOS right-click menu.

I quite like Brackets and have been using it for a while. It was becoming sluggish and buggy a couple versions back but this seems to have been fixed with the 1.0 release. I suggest installing the Emmet plugin for it as well. (In fact I recommend Emmet for everyone, including Sublime Text and Atom)
