Every time I see a birth/parenting article on Jez I can be assured of my hackles being raised by some of the comments. They ooze the kind of privileged "white western" holistic crap that alienates quite a few of us.

"Follow these four bloggers or ... well... go find some to follow and get tips from" isn't really helpful, sorry to say.
A simple black shift or fitted midi dress. Heard people recommend this for years but it wasn't until last year I bought one from Old Navy, sadly since discontinued. (Yes, Old Navy - I'm poor). Lovely, heavy (ie: not flimsy), structured ponte-knit, with darts and princess seams. I adored the dress so much I also bought…
I've got to say he seems to have a real talent for making beautiful clothes for "non-model-sized" bodies. As an avid reader of plus-size fashion blogs, I can tell you he is a huge favourite of the fatshion bloggers. I can genuinely say I've never seen a woman wearing his clothes who didn't look gorgeous.
I signed up for some Marketing and Operations Management courses on Coursera thanks mainly to a previous article you wrote Alan. It's been eye-opening how much has changed in those fields since I graduated uni back in the dark ages (the mid-90s - yes I'm an Old). Great articles and resources. Keep up the good work.

I'm probably in the minority but Bundesliga matches are a delight to watch (versus the drama of the EPL for instance).
In the Caribbean (specifically Trinidad) unripe mangoes are eaten in something called "chow". Variations to the basic recipe can occur but its mainly mango chunks marinated in salt, hot peppers and lime. Herbs like cilantro, mint or garlic can be added. Eat it by itself or use it as a relish.
It's a cricket. Ironically, a cricket landing on you is supposed to be good luck.
OK, as a Grenadian, with an accent generally similar to a Trinidadian, I really have to say this Hawaaiian pidgin accent does sound to me a bit like a northern Caribbean accent (Antigua/Virgin Islands/Cayman). The inflection, not the words obviously.
He was the former coach for Germany; Löw was his assistant.
Between this and what hopefully is a bigger role in Justified as a Dixie Mafia queen, methinks she could be looking at some award nominations.
Where I live there's a well known public make out area situated on a bluff directly overlooking the airport. Years ago a car containing a naked couple feel over the bluff, literally directly in front of the American Airlines check in terminal. Seems like they accidentally released the parking brake in the throes of…
