The only acceptable way to deal with student loans is apparently to live under a bridge and dine on foraged food as penance for your horrible sin of going to grad school.

Not the legitimate president of the United States Donald Trump kept Queen Elizabeth II waiting outside the Windsor Castle so long, his tie grew 7 feet.
Exactly. A healthy, nutrient rich diet certainly can’t hurt and probably can help, but it’s a supplement to actual medical treatment.
This is some grade A quality trolling here.
Yes but I did pretty much that and still have $67,000 in loans. I went to community college and left with no debt. I did go to a private college for my bachelor’s but between scholarships I earned and living at home, it cost less than my state schools by about 4K a year. I did go to a private and known university for…
Yeah it’s...not good.
This #bigbabyblimp #trumpybaby is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a really long time. It’s made my week. Good work London 👶🇬🇧
Income driven repayment plans are great when you need them but the forgiveness/taxable income part really needs to be in all caps. Most people don’t seem have any idea about that, and I'm sure a LOT of people will be shocked to find themselves with an unexpectedly high tax bill within the next 10-15 years.
For what it’s worth, a lot of us who went to grad school regret that decision. Grass is greener, maybe, or maybe it’s that everything has a chance of working out or a chance of sucking.
I’m secretly hoping the Queen has a copy and suggests watching a video whilst they take tea tomorrow.
1. I mean, of course it was for plastic surgery.
Where did this person not “own it”? That’s just the cost of law school. If that’s a person’s chosen career, and they don’t have other resources to pay for the education, then there is no other option. Hindsight is 20/20 - there’s no way a student can predict the job market years after they graduate.
Also a lawyer (I don’t practice anymore, thank god), and I went to a CLE class a few years ago where one of the instructors was trying to put a positive spin on people graduating from law school and taking doc review jobs and the like because of law firm hiring freezes/higher competition for public sector jobs.…
I actively dissuade people from even thinking about law school. It is a total scam. If I had a do over I would have gone to nursing school or be a physician assistant. Job security forever and no dilemma about moving out of state and if there is reciprocity with that state’s bar...
Hello me! We should have never gone to law school. :(
It was illegal for me to work more than 18 hours a week when I was in grad school as I was already on federal work study aid. Surely you aren’t suggesting I should have broken the law ?
That’s great for you, but it’s not an option for everyone.
I know I was reading you post like, what are the chances? I never met her in person (close internet friends for years) but she was amazingly funny and had the most positive outlook imaginable even through all that. Always making people laugh. Glad to hear that boyfriend has found what seems to be a great lady in you :)
