I know I already commented once, but I'm just having a really hard time understanding how you missed the AND STANDING in my comment and then proceeded to reply based entirely on something different. How shitty are you at reading?

Fucktard, you can't drop the "and standing" from my comment and then respond like it wasn't there. I said it would be a no-call if Miller hadn't lost his feet. As in a cross-check to the lower back in front of the net right after a shooter hits the goalie with a swing and a miss slapshot attempt is totally fine. …
How sure are you that you didn't just do that to yourself?
Just don't forget that we're seeing it dozens of times slower than it happened and that Miller had taken a very big swing and miss at the puck that then connected with the goalie (so the "protect the goalie" training you start getting at 6 yrs old around your crease kicks in).
I'm not saying it's 90% "as violent" — what kind of standard is that? A check is violent, hell, a fight is way more violent than this. I'm saying that having both hands separate on your stick and cross checking a guy on the ice is much closer to a hockey play than a two-handed baseball swing. It's 99% closer to a…
He was getting read to clear the crease and continued even though his target was moving (falling). I don't think he set out to break that guys neck, and I think it's a lot less bad in real time than slomo. Still a suspendable hit, but the degree of hindsight we get from a looped slow motion highlight sort of isn't…
This was actually the inverse.
Two things make the baseball swing worse — 1) leverage and 2) the fact that there's no legit reason to ever have your stick gripped with both hands at the butt end (as is needed to swing it like a bat).
When I was a horrible child, hardly a year went by where I didn't use scotch tape on the kitchen sink spray gun and then leave a ton of dirty dishes in it. My mom always cursed at me, but the year I got my grandmother she thought it was brilliant. Grandmothers are too kind.
I love that Hyatt.
NCAA rules aren't laws.
If he hadn't made that shit documentary I wouldn't have either. But he sort of seems perfect for AZ with that context.
Plus 1 just for the Suns.
The Suns too.
Wasn’t a joke.
The rule is "don't not be funny". It's not which tragedy, it's just that you have to be funny about it.
I don't think you know what demonstrably means.
Other leagues call them conditional picks and do the inverse. Functionally it's the same thing.
I get a little drunk just reading his descriptions of drinks...
