Everyone should go visit GameFAQs as a show of support. :-P

Okay, got it -- thanks for clearing that up a bit!

Didn’t the new GTI get a power boost over the last generation? I would’ve figured they’d use the same engine for this as they did before. Hopefully they’ll do that for future model years.

Ah, I didn’t know that.

Yes haha

Money laundering is unethical. Selling something that you don’t actually own is fraudulent. I’m not questioning those things.

Yes, I doubt that most if any of the NFTs sold alongside art media will provide any real long-term ROI for their buyers. Anyone thinking they’ll make money is probably either going to try to sell it quickly again or just hope that this stuff continues far enough into the future that their NFT will increase in value

I hadn’t made a decision either way, which is why I asked my question. I think I have a solid basic understanding of how both NFTs and crypto work, but I wanted to see if I was missing something.

Okay, got it -- thanks. That’s pretty much what I thought: NFTs are used to create scams, but the technology itself does not inherently make all transactions with it scams.

Is that generally how it happens? I thought some of the more ethical individuals were selling some of the rights to the images associated with their NFTs.

I understand how NFTs can be bad for the environment and how the nature of what they are and the sky-high prices some NFT artworks were selling for at auction could lead to reasonable ethical concerns.

Give that Golf GTE a manual and AWD and it’d basically be the perfect car for me — I’d buy it in a second.

I actually love the Juke — both the old one and that new one. I’m less of a fan of the two-tone paint job and the low power in the new one, but if that new one were available in the US with the same 188 or 215 HP as found in the prior US models, and I’d seriously consider buying one.

As someone who regularly wears a mask for over five hours at a time while doing light to mild athletic activity at work, and has adapted to the point where they don’t even think about it anymore, the issue of wearing a mask at a movie theater while sitting down and enjoying a movie . . . wasn’t ever really an issue.

Have you watched a lot of these types of news segments from lower-budget local affiliate stations? The whole broadcasts tend to be very short and have to cram a bunch of different stories into that short time-frame. Virtually every story is edited similarly to this.

Yeah, it’s like they forgot that whole episode where Arnold learned karate, mastering martial arts to such an extreme level that he could cut the clothes off a man’s body within seconds only using his knifehands.

Did anyone else think about how all the interior illumination from the screens would make it harder to see the stars in that last image? I mean, it’s obviously photoshopped to a ridiculous level, and that’s somewhat expected for pre-release teaser shots of cars, but still — the element that made me think of how

It sounds like the real solution is to not automatically download Razer’s software when you plug in one of their mice. Maybe not downloading software without the user’s explicit permission would be a good thing!

Yeah, they’ve just gone downhill since the 2019 facelift.

And though I don’t like the new Crunchyroll website as much as the old one, the new one is still noticibly better than the Funimation one.
