Look, it’s like layers of cake. Who is opposed to putting more layers of icing and cake in a cake, even if it’s set to collapse in on itself like a bad wedding? Or like an onion - yes, more layers may make one cry more as they cut through it, but that’s also how we get the buttery goodness of a roasted or fried onion.

Also worth pointing out that what we in the West call “sake” is actually “nihonshu” in Japanese. If you go to a bar in Japan and order “sake” you’ll most likely be served a beer, as “sake” simply means “alcohol” in Japanese!
