Wait. . . is this a reference to The Prestige?!

Here’s a suggestion:

Wait, what content in the video was copyrighted? I didn’t see the video before it was taken down, so I’m not sure if other media was used, but if you’re referencing the email transcript posted above in the article, then that’s definitely not protected by copyright unless it was, word-for-word, written by Konami

“H-hi! You called? You want be back finally?”

Virtually all of the external capture devices and video recorders, like the Elgato ones, will have both video-in and video-out connectors alongside a USB port for connecting it to your computer. So, they essentially have the splitter built in: you plug the video cable from your console into the one end of the device,

This is despite a standard notice from Sony being presented upon deletion telling the user they would be able to download it again later.

Dude, what happened to this? Not only was the Magnavox Odyssey the first console, it was also easily one of the best looking. You should’ve replaced the refrigerator that is the PSX with this beauty.

Hm, it never worked for me to begin with. I read half a dozen posts about this online and not once did I ever actually see it working.

Now playing

It’s from this promotional video released before the game:

It depends on what specifically is going on, but I tend to think of more lighthearted and temporary actions as jokes, with the more complex ones being labeled as pranks. Trolling for me usually comes into play when the action is solely intended to annoy and offend others or incite flaming; the “cruel” trolling you

If it were a mistake, it would be a basic clerical error. I can see it being within the bounds of reason for a PR person provided with video from their management to simply post it online without enough thought. Certainly, in most people’s jobs, they’ve made small mistakes like that occasionally. Most people’s jobs,

This seems like an issue of personal assessment. If TB knows himself well enough to admit that he won’t be able to assess the game accurately and neutrally under these conditions, I have a lot of respect for that decision. Everyone is different, and another person under the same conditions might assess themselves

Twenty-five years?! No way is it taking that long.

Even still, the English voice sounds pretty similar to the Japanese one. The difference might just be in the lack of inflection and tone, but the overall sound is actually fairly close.

I'm using this mouse right now and totally agree that overall it's great. That said – and I'm not at all the first to have these problems – I've encountered some major sensitivity issues with the basic mouse buttons when holding clicks. Clicking and dragging motions only work approximately 70% of the time; the rest of

I’d say it was about on par with Man at Arms. With the more recent episodes especially, they seem to be going into a greater amount of detail.

One factor about some of the examples given here is simply the difference between words originating from Japanese and words originating from languages other than Japanese.

Maybe like rallycross?

Either that, or spot on for its time (2001). Jhonen is known to be a pretty big gamer, so I'm sure he had a certain amount of informed perspective when came to writing that episode. :-P
