I'll second the AIAS awards. They're the Oscars equivalent for videogames, but just aren't publicized nearly as much as the VGAs are.

Yes, exactly. It's an important distinction that unfortunately has been obfuscated by the popularity of using pixel resolution numbers, either in display or in acquisition, as marketing devices.

I agree: what's most important is picking the right camera for your needs.

What makes it seem rushed? The game took three years to develop particularly because they wanted to expand its scope.

This is really just a debate of semantics; what qualities do you believe should be highlighted in a "game of the year?" What does the title of "Game of Year" mean to you? The award, like many others, has little in the way of qualifying traits. I mean, there isn't even a simple paragraph on the VGA's website to

Pig riding without the carrot, though. I guess you need something the dragon wants to eat...

This is just as relevant to anyone who takes photos with a smartphone... the only element element defining Instagram is the inherent use of effects filters. The rest of the criticism could just as easily be levied against an over zealous Twitter user who posts pictures constantly.

No, there are no readings of 伸 I know of that include a "bo" sound. I'm seeing readings of the following:

Yeah, I actually got the Christmas Story reference when I posted that... but the common sense part of my brain must've been turned off at the time, causing me to focus way too much on the issue of whether or not the article was an ad, and not enough on the possibility that your post could've been made entirely in

The 7D is a great sports camera, but it's just not nearly as good as either the 1D Mk. IV or the 1D X. The 1D Mk. IV in particular was designed to be Canon's top-of-the-line sports camera and beats out the 7D is virtually every category (including video). If you have the money for them, as most of these professionals

Well, the advent of precision auto-focus and variable ISO auto-exposure systems systems means there's a lot more flexibility. f/8 for most lenses is still the sweetspot when it comes to quality, some of the newest lenses at 2.8 and faster are astoundingly good.

I've deciphered a pattern...

I'm not sure... but I think not. It's my understanding that the authors/editors write the stories independently of the ads, which are automatically added to the end of the posts. Or, at least I know that's the case with the purchase link at the very bottom; I'm only assuming it's the case with the YouTube video since

As a potential solution, Google could allow AdSense subscribers to enable a clickfraud protection option on their accounts which would automatically flag and limit the payout from suspicious activity. There could be an extablished maximum rate of increase from paycheck to paycheck, providing a safeguard to Google's

In the same vein, Google could allow AdSense subscribers to enable a clickfraud protection option on their accounts which would automatically flag and limit the payout from suspicious activity.

I'll throw my vote in for ReadySoup over at http://www.readysoupcomic.com/ .

You would still be able to use the Wii Classic Controller attached to a Wii Remote while in the "Wii mode," though, right?

Yeah, the only major issue I had with this article was pertaining exactly to the subject of ironic appreciation of the show: it definitely exists. I'd even go so far as to say that there's a very good chance that a lot of the originators of the fandom on 4chan were posting about it ironically before others picked up

While I never attended one of these Zelda concerts, I did get the sense that they were supposed to be more traditional and formal in nature (had I gone, I would've worn a suit). The contrasting videogame concert series here would be Video Games Live, where they actively encourage cheering and prominent fandom.

That just showed how oddly mixed those audio tracks are. The cries and yells sound like they're shouted in a room (which they are), as opposed to originating from a man outdoors positioned good 25m in front of the player...
