The others are right; maybe there's an issue with your TV or your video connection to that TV. I remember friends complaining of HDMI lag on Halo and Guitar Hero games a few years ago, but most modern TVs should be fast enough to handle the HDMI connection with little to no latency.

There's no way in hell that screen is directly from the game, unless they've updated it with some major anti-aliasing tech. There isn't a single jaggie in that entire screenshot, while they're all over the place in the examples in the article.

I thought that was the point of this resolution — it's so high-res that pixels are no longer visible due to the screen being as small as it is.

Having text inserts like that work well isn't impossible — Tony Scott's films do it quite well — but I feel like the text's font, styling (those boxes surrounding the words), and gradual presentation aren't exactly…

I'm more surprised that they used Elfman's film theme instead of his Animated Series theme, though. I don't think the movie theme fits quite as well...
