The others are right; maybe there's an issue with your TV or your video connection to that TV. I remember friends complaining of HDMI lag on Halo and Guitar Hero games a few years ago, but most modern TVs should be fast enough to handle the HDMI connection with little to no latency.

What, are you shooting in Live View mode all the time, or something?

Haha yeah, I saw that in my newspaper's Sunday comics.

Taking scarves to another level.

Yeah, Zipper was mentioned earlier:

Lucky for you, Obsidian is only going to help in a design and writing capacity.

I've only received maybe four or so collector's/special editions of games. Of those, I bought two: Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence Limited Edition, and the half-way special edition of Skyward Sword with the included music CD.

Eh, no backwards compatibility just means that it'll be a few years before I even consider buying the console.

I'm not saying that fans don't have a right to be pissed off. If you hate the ending with a passion, there's nothing wrong with that. From what I've read of the ending, it does seem like one hell of a disappointment, and had I played it as well I'd most likely agree with everyone who hates it (I wasn't a fan of Deus

"The art comes from the DESIGN of a game, and the freedom to give players an interactive, invested experience, something no other medium can really do, is an art in and of itself."

Eh, maybe. Max would be "Makkusu" and Reigns might be "Reinzu". Reigns has a half of a syllable more than Max, but that's about it.

Hm, this is a bit of a different perspective than I thought would be represented. The main detriment Stardock seems to point out is simply Windows 8's wonkyness and unreliability which, I guess, makes sense to an extent.

I'll agree in general that just appending a series of thirty-five comics on to the back end of Watchmen's narrative doesn't make it quite as much of a 'soap opera' as most comic series are. It nonetheless flies in the face of part of what Moore was trying to do with the original series: make a single self-contained

A friend of mine wrote this, which I believe sums up the point against this series quite nicely (added emphasis is mine):

There's no way in hell that screen is directly from the game, unless they've updated it with some major anti-aliasing tech. There isn't a single jaggie in that entire screenshot, while they're all over the place in the examples in the article.

That secret sauce? Money.

I wasn't really agreeing or disagreeing :-P I was just trying to express why I thought Apple bumped the resolution as high as they have.

I thought that was the point of this resolution — it's so high-res that pixels are no longer visible due to the screen being as small as it is.

Hm, I don't really like those text snippets during the cutscenes; I think they're a bit distracting. Having text inserts like that work well isn't impossible — Tony Scott's films do it quite well — but I feel like the text's font, styling (those boxes surrounding the words), and gradual presentation aren't exactly

I'm more surprised that they used Elfman's film theme instead of his Animated Series theme, though. I don't think the movie theme fits quite as well...
