The problem with this is it won’t reduce trafficking. It just hurts voluntary sex workers without helping coerced sex workers. In countries where sex work is completely illegal, trafficking proliferates just as much as in countries where it’s legal.
Where’s the sourcing on that 85% figure? The Swedish police have outright admitted that getting figures on trafficking are extremely difficult, and one of the biggest studies claiming trafficking tied to legalization of sex work in Germany outright made up many of their sourcing and statistics on trafficking.
