Here’s your article, people. I wonder why it took so long? Look at all these tributes. RIP, Mike.

Think I’ve teared up three times reading this site: Mike’s struggle with gaming addiction, Mike’s story about being in a coma, and today reading this tribute.
In this game you just catch and battle Pokemon to fill out your Pokedex. That’s it. That is the game. There is ostensibly a main storyline, but it’s so straightforward and basically a given because the game knows what you’ll actually be doing isn’t rushing through the story, but instead exploring every nook and cranny…
As far as I can tell they’re already balanced completely differently. The pulse carbine is my favorite weapon in campaign, and it’s worse than being unarmed in multiplayer.
I wont lie, the first thing I thought of was Doug Bowser who got arrested.
After a while I kinda figured it was another man with the same last name.
Even so for a while that was my first thought.
“Bowser from Nintendo? Jeeze didn’t that guy make enough money and fame already?
So its, “So long, Gary Bowser?”
Yes I was thinking it’s more #9 than Rest
Ooh, now I want Paul F. Tompkins, so I can close my eyes and imagine it’s a new Mr. Peanutbutter show.
This review is proof that spoilers are actually good.
Indentured servitude is not slavery. If it were the same it would be called slavery.
I sincerely think you need to take a long, hard look at yourself for even thinking that (and for still actually saying it, which you did just in a less honest way). That kind of thoughtless cruelty is part of how we got to this place.
I have been thinking a lot about Marx and alienation lately. I worked in marketing for about six months and hated it so badly that it sent me back to grad school—I am one of the only people I know who didn’t fully hate my PhD (I also got academic work, so there’s that) and part of this was finally feeling like I was…
Yeah, there are a lot of people right now coming to some big realization about the nature of work when the rest of us are “you’re a marketing wonk, yeah your job isn’t essential but good on you for just figuring that out today”
There definitely seems to be a dichotomy between people who had time to have these grand epiphanies about work and people who have just had to buckle down and log more hours at the grocery store (or wherever) because all their coworkers are falling sick.
I’m taking this as a confirmation that Crono will be the next one.
[correction: rich Fighters Pass 2 owners hired Sephiroth. poor people who could not afford Fighters Pass 2 did not hire Sephiroth.]
He even has a down+b counter, one of the things that tends to tie in with the overabundance of sword users!
Unexpected Bill Wurtz.
Your assumption is that those 20k viewers wouldn’t be watching something else on Twitch if it wasn’t for him.
I’m relatively new to this site and to larger games writing. I hope that I develop a reputation for honesty. Plenty of sites can get hyperbolic when talking about games, spewing out one liners that look like the type of shit you see in commercials or GOTY edition boxes.
