TNF should be banned.

“Sure. How many black players do they have?”

True. How often have Thursday night games been good? What do you expect when teams playing a violent sport only have 3 days to rest.

“Not funny”

Buck in orange does look like a pumpkin....

“I resent that”

Maybe it was. Williams Never Surrendered, after all.

Some people are so stupid. I mean, a Trent Edwards jersey?

Nah, Trent would’ve checked it down first and only done a little jump-off.

If only. Try mid-October. The Yankees are often still playing in meaningful games longer than the Bills.

“’Browns’ and ‘fire’ in one article? Jesus Christ, don’t scare me like that”

“The only way this team will ever catch fire”

“Never saw it coming”

“’Browns’ and ‘fire’ in the same article? Jesus Christ, don’t scare me like that”

What? “Browns” and “fire” in the same article, but the word “dumpster” nowhere to be found?

And even more improbably, gets laughs 60 years later.

I used to work with a guy who claimed his grandpa had been an SS officer, and kept his old uniform in the attic. Even though my coworker was flamingly gay, he seemed to not have a strong opinion on the matter and no idea what he’d do with the uniform if he’d ended up with it.

Baseball’s toughest division? One that featured 2 teams with .420 win percentages or less? The Cardinals got 25 wins combined against the Reds and Brewers. The Cubs got 27, and Pirates *only* got 19. The Blue Jays played 76 games against Boston, Baltimore, Yankees, and Rays, the worst of those teams finishing 6 games

True, but that’s not the essence of the article. The claim is that with Bryant up earlier, the Cubs may have won an extra game and therefore been at home. And that this somehow counts as a poor tactical decision on their part in the context of the WC game itself.
