I remember reading about that the “Daily Affirmations” too and based on his ego/narcissism could definitely imagine it happening.

“I have the greatest elbows and ass, everyone says it except the fake news.”

Even if the vehicles produced here aren’t subject to the tariffs, I am pretty there used to be a percent of the parts produced in the US number that used to determine if a vehicle was considered an import or domestic, not sure if that still applies. If companies profits go down because of the tariffs there is a chance

I kind of agree he might not be dumb, but he is almost definitely uninformed. I fully agree though he is clearly a narcissist and I am pretty sure his ego and desire to get re-elected cloud every decision he makes.

That sucks, I really hope that your job is safe.

Ok, I think I have an example you might be able to wrap your head around.

Right, I am the idiot. Taxing companies that import cars and driving down their profits and therefore jeopardizing American jobs is probably the most important context here.

I understand his goal, which I, of course, agree with. Jobs are good.

Ohhhhh, you're the Trump supporter, got it, thanks.

I am not talking about the HQ’s, I am talking about what is actually made here. Does he know that putting tariffs on Volvo’s (using the example in the article) could actually cost American jobs.

Serious question, does Trump have any idea how many “foreign” cars are actually built in the US?

That’s awesome. Congrats on the new car.

That’s garbage, good job Kia!!

Kia dealers did such a good job selling that car I completely forgot it exists and I don’t know that I have ever seen one in person.

I never had the pleasure of going there. I win!!

I used to live in the PNW and Lee Johnson always seemed to be the best dealer network to work with. I don’t think I ever heard complaints about any of their dealers.

Our C300 was a similar deal, CPO from an MB dealer and they were great. The sales and finance guys weren’t in suits (manager was) but they were all wearing ties and they had a coffee and pastries deal. Our salesman was great and walked us around and introduced us to the service people, pulled the car in the showroom

Ya, I saw that. There are always going to be decent dealers.

I have never set foot in a Kia dealer, I think I would agree about the inferiority deal though.
