13 is a game with an identity crisis and its sadly flawed, however if you can tough it out 13-2 and 3 both redeem the direction change by being not quite main line final fantasy but a different take that is well worth playing.

you get starred, but Tales of the Abyss and Shadow Hearts II both are voiced and are the best RPGs :p however I mostly agree with your point ;)

12 got better for me with age, it also requires a very specific playstyle or it falls apart.

I honest to god hope thats some bullshit promotional picture my hype died so fast when I saw it! I can’t see why people get a pass for this shit like wheres the angry boss who table flips when he sees this abomination and storms down to the cutting room floor to demand whose responsible.

Have you played Stellaris? I feel like the whole Krogan issue is they were uplifted by an advanced civilization without any of the societal changes that technology would bring if developed independently.

Your friend is a goddamn hero for sticking with the consequences of his actions, what a scuffed playthrough i bet it was amazing!

This one needed to be slammed infront of everyones faces early, I had to talk a friend out of dumping big money on gamestop and drew him the graph of potential earnings vs entry timing with trade groups to demonstrate.

Skyrim is a sandbox rpg though and isn’t really bigger than Oblivion or Morrowind though, Bethesda just continued their thing with it.

Oh look its that time of the year again, the time where ActiBlizz decide to cash in on their legacy instead of doing anything towards a new one. I can’t wait to see what mediocrity they bring to the table to somehow mess this one up.

good for you mate (this isn’t sarcasm), Its nice to see someone really justify photo mode too I should spend more time finding scenes I genuinely think i’d enjoy it so thanks for mentioning street photography.

I hope you’re right I just tend to temper my expectations :p I won’t be gutted if its just prettier ME1 but if its more thats just a very sweet bonus.

You’d have to drastically change ME1 to actually make it play well, I suspect we’ll get a facelift and just tough it out tbh its not the worst game you can play its just old and shows it.

ME2 was a game I was worried would be ruined by the transition from being primarily a PC game to primarily a console one and they got it absolutely perfect. Now that statement doesn’t make sense because ME1 was a 360 exclusive but its design is that of a PC game it had all of the bloat that comes as standard and they

Nah bloodlines is like a gatekeeping device to see if you pass as a real gamer whose done their time putting up with things in any state, don’t encourage more to play it it ruins the metric and they won’t understand the hype anyway!

I came to write this but luckily you already had, perfect!

I can’t deny anything about the hackers and they certainly put me off, but if you get a group of friends and do missions without much regard for whether you fail or not is about the funniest game available. The slapstick comedy is simply off the charts its an absolute blast

It does, my friend just bought a 3080 and was kind enough to stream it for me on release day so i could decide if i should wait for a PC upgrade or not, it definitely looks amazing and even the raytracing which i felt sure was just industry bunk was actually very attractive if you did a side by side with or without it.

This was a refreshingly broad take on the evolution of journalism, I do think that much of the backlash and drama for change is caused not just because of the clientele resisting it though but because marketing models and the internet encourage a new style of article, clickbait basically.

some of us never got used to it, I’ve never bought MTX for anything and dlc is restricted to when they bundle it up and sell it to me as a group later (like an expansion pack)

the only problem I had with my vanilla PS4 was the disc ejection on a particularly hot day, I read the solution online but never actually got around to doing it because it never repeated.
