I would love to know more about Schrodinger’s quicksand

I mean yes, dying light did fairly well I think and that is dead island 2 with a different name, i’d have played a dead island 2 the first was tacky but also absolutely hilarious, hitting a zombie with a power wrench and watching it ragdoll into the ocean is an all time fav of mine.

It’d definitely be +stability I got your sweet reference!

they are supporting it steadily but i think this is the wrong take, I certainly respect them and have enjoyed the content they’ve put in by dipping in every 6-12 months but ED will never realize the dream in the way SC was going for, but won’t achieve in 2030 either :p

Pretty dubious about this as really its about what gameplay is associated with it and history as far as ED is concerned has taught me that it will involve repeating the most mundane of tasks lol

I’m expecting to get out on a planet and do some excel spread sheeting like the rest of the game :p, I much prefer your idea of where they should focus attention tbh

They made a classic mistake, if Overwatch wasn’t made by blizzard it would have disappeared in 6 months like all the others but that was in isolation because your right, now they are competing with a more established game as well.

They tried to pull an Apex without any of the required context aimed at kinda the wrong market and a bit of an identity crisis.

You can’t even sell the rewards anymore? Man such a racket :/ lol but i agree most battle passes are pretty much play 50% of the days at least a game and you’ll max it out. The Dota 2 one you won’t even get close. It only frustrates me though because the Dota 2 one is so good compared to everyone elses, but I find it

I bought one like 4 or 5 years ago and put some fairly heavy hours in just to see how far you could actually get one and it tapped out at like 140, if you bought levels for the better wager tiers from the gate i could see you getting 400 if you were really dedicated.

it is but its also got a bad sight and players are unfamiliar with it, the TTK with an MP5 will be only a tiny bit longer with chest shots than head.

I’ve not played with the AR’s in the gulag yet so i could be mistaken but my initial response to that change was pretty negative, the gulag was the only place pistols and shotguns saw any actual use and switching them to AR’s is just going to make every round a snapshot special.

the skeletons great and I say that as someone who told everyone i know to avoid it, just needs a very solid amount of content with a good progression loop that isn’t too grindy but isn’t too easy or casual either.

a far better answer than was deserved tbh lol

I hope your right mate but experience has taught me to be very hesitant about going with any marketing figures spouted on stage. I’m expecting 4k30 to be target for an overwhelming majority of titles as its the next incremental upgrade from current hardware.

Ok that is a tiny number out of the actual list there but I do stand corrected, most of these are pretty old but if they got TF2 to run at 4k60 that is impressive.

I don’t know why you responded to me twice with basically the same thing but yes it is marketing claims because the consumers expectations are not based on a sufficiently simple scene (this is the convoluted scenario i mentioned whereby the say their numbers are “real”).

Pretty sure zero console games run 60fps 4k, most won’t even do 30. PC games will if you sufficiently potato them which is the exact gerrymandering I was talking about. That isn’t hitting the criteria, that is making the criteria easier to hit.

Gotta say this was a great vid, I doubt we’ll quite get to this level but as a tech demo its breathtaking, plus i liked the technical commentary thats my kinda bag

It probably should but i’m not sure whether to blame the actual corporation for it, the media for parroting it without question when they should blatantly know better or the general populace for believing performance figures without any linkage to reality.
